Strategic Plan

Welcome to the Strategic Plan for Marymount. This Plan is a bold assertion of how Marymount will continue to deepen its academic and spiritual offering to prepare students for the changing realities of the world in the years to come. We hope that parents will find here a commitment from the School to institutional growth and development, and that Faculty and staff will see the integral nature of their individual roles in the broader context. Much as theStrategic Plan is accessible and relevant to the entire community, so too was it made possible through consultation with and valuable contribution from students, parents, faculty, staff, and Board members.

This resulting document reflects the aspirations of all members of the Marymount community, centered around the following strategic areas:

1) Excellence in Programs

2) Future Readiness

3) Sustainability

4) Self and Spiritual Actualization

The Board of Regents will oversee the implementation of this Plan. On a yearly basis, specific actions will be drawn up in each of the areas listed above. These actions will meaningfully contribute to the five-year objectives, and their progress will be tracked across the year. Progress reports will be shared with the entire community at the end of each semester. Marymount today stands in proud homage to the vision of the founding RSHM Sisters. Through the challenging academic program and ethical formation rooted in the Catholic faith, our students learn to foster the full human person. The Strategic Plan is a roadmap for our future development– one which will build on 77 years of stability and success and focus the efforts of the entire community ontheachievement of each student’s full potential.
