Admissions

Acceptance and placement depends upon review of the application papers submitted. The Application form, list of required documents and application fees are all available here.

The documents to submit for review are: a completed application form, health form, teacher and Principal recommendation forms, copies of the previous school reports from the last two years (as applicable), and the application fee. Following a review of these materials the Head of School informs the parents of the school’s decision.

As spaces are limited early application in January/February is recommended for September entry. However, as we are an international school, applications are accepted year round, and applications made throughout the academic year will be reviewed on an individual basis.

Birth date entry is from October 31^st to October 30^th:
To enter Early Childhood a child must be two years old by October 31^st.
To enter Early Childhood 1 a child must be three years old by October 31^st.
To enter Early Childhood 2 a child must be four years old by October 31^st.
To enter Kindergarten a child must be five years old by October 31^st.

The school year runs from early September to late June.

The school runs Monday through Friday, and the hours are:
8:30 am to 3:20 pm for Early Childhood, Early Childhood 1, Early Childhood 2 and Kindergarten.
8:20 am to 3:30 pm for Grades 1-12.

EC1 and EC2 students have the option of registering for our Early Bird Club which runs between from 8:00 am to 8:30 am, and may also sign up for our Aftercare program which takes place daily from 3:20 pm - 4:40 pm.

After school activities run from:
● 3:30 pm to 4:45 pm for Elementary School
● 3:45 pm to 4:55 pm for Secondary School

Average class size is 16 students per class and the teacher/student ratio is 1:6. 
Early Childhood Center and Kindergarten classes each have a teacher and a teaching assistant while Grades 1 through 5 have one class teacher and specialist teachers for music, art, physical education, library, Italian and technology classes in addition to an Enrichment Coordinator.
