Athletics
Marymount's Athletics program aims to foster wellness, knowledge, confidence, social skills, fair play and fun and at the same time encourage positive habits which support the development of the whole person.
From our Early Childhood Center's Physical Education classes focusing on developing competence in body control and coordination to the Elementary School's program introducing students to team sports, health-related fitness components, healthy choices, and lifetime activities, physical education is an important part of students' learning journey for mental and emotional development as well as physical wellness.
This focus on the achievement of an intellectual, physical and emotional balance to achieve personal well-being for themselves and others is carried through students' Secondary School years with the Middle School Sports Program, the High School Varsity Sports Program and a wide variety of after-school opportunities for the development of good sportsmanship, commitment, and personal growth.
