RSHM Sports Festival

 

Welcome to the official page of the XV RSHM Middle School Sports Festival which will be hosted by Marymount International School Rome from Monday, April 1st to Friday, April 5th, 2019. 

In addition to our yearly competitions in Basketball, Volleyball and Soccer, this edition of the RSHM Sports Festival will offer our student athletes the additional opportunity to compete in Swimming, Tennis and Athletics due to Marymount International School Rome's new collaboration with CONI, the National Italian Olympic Committee which allows the School use of its extraordinary facilities.

The spirit of the RSHM Sports Festival is that through friendly sports competition our students are encouraged to affirm personal growth and to create unity through diversity thereby developing friendships and intercultural understanding, in addition to good sportsmanship and community engagement.

Eligibility requirements: All Middle School students in 6th, 7th and 8th grade are eligible to participate.

Up to 20 students per school are invited.

The tennis matches will be held in the beautiful Stadio Nicola Pietrangeli (ex Pallacorda); the swim meets will be held in CONI Piscine and the athletics competitions in the Stadio dei Marmi, all part of the Italian National Olympic Committee's (CONI) sport complex just 5 minutes away from Marymount.
