Due to Covid-19-related obstacles, many U.S. colleges and universities have decided to go “test optional” for Fall 2021 admissions (and possibly beyond). This means that SAT or other standardized test scores (such as ACT) are not necessarily a required part of the application.
You may wish to submit your test scores even if the university in question is test optional, but keep in mind that consideration but may focus more on other parts of the application.
